Artistry and Apple always go hand in hand. And they have proved it yet again.
A few weeks back Apple opened their store in downtown Chicago. They added a giant Apple logo on the roof. It had an amazing design from the start as usual. But a little addition made it even more special.
On Thursday, June 22nd they added a giant Apple logo on the roof.
It instantly transformed the entire roof into a giant MacBook Air. Take a look below.
Though this beauty didn’t last long. According to local media outlet DNAInfo, it was rolled up after an hour or so. But once you’ve seen it, there’s no going back.
The London-based design firm Foster + Partners did this design work. Their site doesn’t show any information about this design but shows two other Apple stores that they’ve worked on, including one in Hangzhou, China.
It’d be a lot cooler if the giant roof opens and there are a full keyboard and trackpad hidden inside. We have to wonder about that till Apple confirms anything.
